- camelbag or water bottle holder with a capacity for at least a litre of liquid
- race bib number visible during the entire duration of the race
- emergency blanket
- whistle
- cell phone switched on but on silent mode
- waterproof anorak with hood (preferably in Goretex or similar)
- long sleeved sweatshirt
- long trousers or trousers that cover the knees
- hat or bandana
- gloves
- headlamp with spare batteries
- cup, glass or water bottle (there are no glasses at the refreshment points)
- appropriate footwear.
